The notes and character created from contact with oak are what shape the whiskeys we love and enjoy.
Instead of finishing our whiskey inside of barrels, we explored what happens when You do the exact opposite. we finish our whiskey with broken barrel staves. We put wood into our whiskey – and the results were unbelievable.

Our founder and ‘Chief Barrel Breaker’ was born and raised in California. His passion for great bourbon coupled with his access to freshly dumped Central Coast Cabernet casks combined for a truly unique bourbon.

Break from traditional Rye with our Heresy Rye Whiskey – bottled at 105 proof for a bigger bolder flavor profile. Finished again with broken Ex-Bourbon, Sherry and French oak barrel staves.

The Oak Bills available in 2021-22 include a Peach Brandy & French Oak, a Rum & Rye cask finish, a Stout Beer & Ex-Bourbon cask finish, and a Port and French Oak finish.
